Go-Dome™ Warranty Policy

The Go-Dome™ products are fully warranted to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship for one full year. If a product fails during the warranty period due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence (including freezing or getting hot or wet), normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. Extra fabric is provided to patch pinholes which naturally occur over time.

Damage not covered under warranty will be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping on all repairs.

The official manufacturer's warranty is on the Avela Go-Dome™ website. Their warranty policy supercedes any warranty policy listed here.

Go-Dome™ Fire Retardancy Quality Assurance

The cloth used in each Go-Dome™ product is custom made for this specific application. And as such, the cloth is designed with the highest standards possible for fire retardancy. Each batch of cloth manufactured for Go-Domes™ has to pass stringent laboratory testing for fire retardancy before it is accepted for manufacturing of the dome.

The newest Go-Dome™ cloth has passed the highest (California) US standards (Testing performed by SGS-CSTC Co., Ltd.). Older domes conformed to previous standards (Previous test performed by Intertek, according to the "Canvas Products Association International" CPAI-84.)

It is best if the domes are set up in an air-conditioned internal space, with local ceiling height at least 4 inches above the dome height. Domes will not burn if allowed to touch an incandescent light but may scorch, so avoid coming within 12 inches of an incandescent light. Avoid allowing dome contact with fire sprinkler systems (may puncture the dome).

Although the fabric is certified flame retardant, Go-Domes™ should never be set up near an open flame, radiators, space heaters or other heat sources. Domes should not be used outside in rain or in breezes more than 3 mph. A dome overtent (sold separately) is recommended for outdoor use in sunlight or light rain. Domes should not be used, stored, or shipped in temperatures above 100° F (38 C) or below 40° F (4 C).
